Winter 2012 (12): Dimsum @ House of Canton

Today, I took the afternoon off, and we went together to Kowloon Tong for dim sum at House of Canton!!

The deep fried squid here was really good!!

Standard dim sum stuffs: shrimp dumplings, xiaolong bao, barbecued pork bun

(Left): Rice flour rolls in XO sauce
(Right): This is only the second time I’m having this dessert.
I neither like papaya nor coconut, but love this dessert!
The coconut is very light, and comes nice and warm, perfect for winter.
Today we specially saw a lot of people ordering this, since its winter now.

Everyone (esp jelly’s) favourite: Roasted pork, have to say the quality was specially good here,
much better than at dim sum places I’ve had with colleagues! So much more crispy and less fat

And of course, we had to drop by this favourite store….Taste… Smile
It had already changed to Chinese New Year décor on the 26th Dec!
All the Western goodies were replaced with Chinese goodies the very next day after Christmas
– so fast and efficient!
