We walked this charming little town, Arles in 2 hours. The amphi-theatre was like the Colloseum in Rome, only a little smaller. It dates back 90 A.D. back when Romans ruled the place and is still used for bull fights. Its amazing how it has stayed. Sky scrapers in Hong Kong are brought down every 40-60 years. The Roman remains reminded me of Rome and the streets reminded me of Montepulciano. We learnt that it was also here that the famous painter Vincent Van Gogh produced some 300 pcs of art in one year and this was where he cut off his ear!
Where the river turned a 90 degree.
