We tried Ethopian food for the first time! It was GOOD. Really liked the spice flavours (not as strogn as indian food), and the eating style was very communal. Reminded me of meals at the Moghuls in Theatre road where all the dishes were put in the middle on a huge thali and each person scooped some to their own “area” of the thali to eat. We had the best neighbours back then. Here, we just ate right off the Middle of the thali!!!
These pancakes were VERY sour. I wish it was more bland cos it overpowered the curry a bit.
We visited Oostend , a seaside down an hour away for Melissa’s 15th birthday.
The “Great Beguinage of Leuven”.
A very old area where nuns used to live, now used as dormitories for University students.
One day I’ll be able to take better photos of Tom…
Finished 2 months of intensive french with all these lovely people!
People from all over, in Brussels for all kinda different reasons.
(well, for 5 of the females including myself was for our other half… hehe)
The guy on the right most was our teacher – So Inspiring. He was just so full of PASSION to teach.
You could just literally feel how much he wanted us to learn something.
Think it will be impossible to beat this teacher.
Thanks to a friend’s recommendation for this delicious value for money steak place only 10 mins away!
Whats more they served the steak with a baked potato, not with the usual “fries” that they always serve here.
Baked potatoes are so much more better and fresh than those frozen fries. Mmmm .
@ Metropole café in Oud Market in Leuven – Super delicious hearty pastas and salads at a very good price
My first ever Siu Mai!
