About

I started this blog when we got married.  We had to STILL be on long distance, for the 7th year, so i thought it would be good to document some pictures so Tom could see my life on the other end of the world, and at the same time we could share it with our families.  But then we started living together in mid-2013, and i found myself enjoying writing and documenting for myself.  I didn’t care if no one read.  It made me pause and reflect.  To document life.  To remember it.  To cherish it.  To be intentional.

It reminded me of my very first trip alone – on a study tour to Korea while in University.  I was sooo amazed by the sights and sounds and culture every single day, i documented everything on MSN Space back then so i would remember how lovely it was, how lucky i was.  It is a habit Dad taught us when were little. He gave us each a little notebook the size of a post-it when we went on holiday to Hong Kong.  Everyday, we were to write something on a little page – it didn’t have to be detailed.  It didn’t even have to be sentences.   To write what we did that day, what we saw or what we ate or felt.  It was a way to be aware of how lucky and fortunate we are to be able to travel outside of India.  I hope to continue this on this little blog, not just of our travels but on anything i want to intentionally remember.

If you stumble upon here, I welcome you to look around and stay a while and i hope you enjoy your time here.   If you have any questions (or just wanna say hi!), feel free to leave a comment or send an email.  If you would like a list of things to eat in Hong Kong (or California or Belgium), email me!! 🙂  Thank you for stopping by 🙂

Leave a Note! =D
