Instead of just posting a picture, I’m gonna try to write out the recipe this time so that next time I’m scratching my head and thinking what should I cook tonight, I can look back on what I’ve cooked before.
This was my first attempt at trying an online recipe!! The tough thing about it as that, I don’t know what’s it supposed to taste like!! So I couldn’t tell whether it was bad cos I didn’t execute it well,
Wow, really love coming home to home-cooked food!! This simple 5-ingredient creamy mushroom steak sauce was absolutely DELICIOUS. Rich yet light, and went so well with the steak. I think it would also go well as a pasta sauce.
Today was T’s last flight from SH! Final return from SH after packing up and returning the rental there. Finally we have only 1 apartment, 1 home. Thought it’d be nice to come home to a home-made Hakka meal 🙂
Jimmy home-style cashew chicken… just the cashew was missing. hehe. And of course, no hakka meal would be complete without a good clear soup! Choy sum, crab stick, silky tofu, vermicelle, and a soft boiled egg. Mmm.
Scrambled eggs, sausage and onions, tomatoes, bread, apple and strawberries in balsamic vinegar sprinkled with pepper
