Barcelona: Day 5–Montserrat!

This was our favourite day.   Ironically, our best day in “Barcelona” was the day outside Barcelona, on a day trip to Montserrat. We started by first visiting Camp Nou, the largest stadium in Europe.  It can fit over 99,000 seats!!!

We arrived in the afternoon, and spent the rest of the day walking Old Town and…. SHOPPING!!  Although we didn’t get anything, one thing was clear  – shops opened LATE!!! Even in summer, even on a  Saturday!  So unlike “Europe”
